Album Made by You
For my New Song Academy Workshop, I chosen to combine the art of music and painting in one. Everyone love music including me, so I wanted to see how I can show that love to the students. I let the student have a choice of making an album cover using paint, they can make one of their favorite artist or an album that desire themselves. I wanted to see how i can connect with them using music, the conversation of who is their favorite artist, how does music help them and how's being a New Song student.
While working the student, they asked me question about their composition, colors that work, thinking about how they want their album to look like.
Nearing the end seeing their artwork, the connection they had to it, I even given out some free canvas for student who want to make more art at their homes.
Overall loving the outcome these student made, seeing all my effort and time to make them happy to make art that they can relate to and want to keep making.
